Dr. Jinho Choi is an associate professor at Emory University, specializing in Computer Science, Quantitative Theory and Methods, and Linguistics. He is the founder and director of the Natural Language Processing Research Laboratory at Emory. His research focuses on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and he has developed state-of-the-art NLP models available in the ELIT toolkit. He has also worked on the Character Mining project and collaborated with various medical fields to develop innovative Biomedical NLP models. Recently, his team won first place in the Alexa Prize Socialbot Grand Challenge 3 with their conversational AI-based chatbot, Emora.
